DICK NASTY

We're not too bad, really. Infact this one time Link (from the fucking meanies!!!) told me we were rad. Also This other time in a timeoff review, they said something along the lines of "fuck bernard fanning, blah blah blah dick nasty are awesome" (not an exact quote). But you see where I'm heading. We love Poison Idea, and have played with the likes of, THE DWARVES, MCLUSKY, MUNICIPAL WASTE, COSMIC PSYCHOS, TISM, FRENZAL RHOMB, THE MEANIES, THE NATION BLUE, ED KEUPPER, DAVE McCORMACK, and heaps more. 9 years, 3 albums, a demo tape, a split ep, one patch, a skateboard deck and no fucking t-shirts.

album descriptions A Funny Thing...: Recorded with Bryce Moorhead at zero interference, august 2006. Pretty raging 16 songs in 23 minutes. Though they are all quite short, think of them as mini operas, as each song is a piece of work constructed with a beginning, middle and end (often with required story arch, climax and follow through), except for track 10, thats just 12 seconds of "music". Worth picking up for the cover art by Murdoch Stafford alone.

Your The Song...: Recorded with Bryce Moorhead at zero interference late 2004. Features 4zzz hot 100 winner "I'm More Australian Than A Book Full Of Bush Poetry By Russel Crowe" amongst other curiously titled hardcore gems. Tracks "A Tupperware Party In The Killing Fields" and "I Turned Into A Martini" recieved regular airplay on jjj's SHORT FAST LOUD program.
